Director of Technology, Bartlett City Schools

Joey Mitchell brings over 18 years of experience in education to his role as Director of Technology for Bartlett City Schools. Starting his career in 2006 as a middle school math teacher, Joey moved into technology in 2010 as a Curriculum Technology Trainer and joined Bartlett City Schools in 2014. In 2015, he moved into a leadership role in technology, and in 2017, he was honored as an Apple Distinguished Educator. Joey has played a pivotal role in transitioning the district to a 1:1 technology setting, always focusing on using technology as a tool to create an innovative environment that promotes success for all students.
